The Symbology Of The Bread Of The Dead
This bread is a typical Mexican dessert baked for the Day of the Dead. Its origin relates to the gastronomy of the catholic dates of All Saints Day and All Soul’s Day, but with a Mexican touch.
The taste is of orange blossom in honor of the deceased. The round form symbolizes the cycle of life and death. There are four bones, symbolizing the tears
shed by the bereaved, placed in the form of a cross, indicating the four cardinal points, each dedicated to a different god.

Este pan es un postre típico Mexicano, para el día de los muertos. Su origen se relaciona a la gastronomía de la fiesta de los muertos y de todos los santos, pero con un toque Mexicano.
Su sabor es de azahar en honor de los fallecidos. La forma redonda simboliza el ciclo de vida y muerte. Cuatro canillas que son los huesos colocados en forma de cruz que indican los puntos cardinales, dedicados a un dios distinto.
